Meet Your Guide
Kit Birks
Kit is a poet, mental health advocate, and spiritual guide dedicated to inspiring hope and fostering connection—both with others and with oneself. She believes in the power of presence, creativity, and nature as pathways to healing.
She discovered poetry in early recovery from drug addiction in 2022. What started as a personal tool to make sense of her emotions, past trauma, and evolving reality quickly blossomed into a powerful creative outlet. Hesitant at first, she began sharing her poetry on social media and was both surprised and moved by how deeply her words resonated with others—strangers who found pieces of their own stories reflected in hers. Her debut book of poetry, set to be published in 2025, marks an achievement that she is not only proud of but hopes can reflect the power of recovery from drug addiction.
Alongside her writing, Kit is passionate about nature and spirituality, guiding others to reconnect with themselves through mindfulness, stillness, energy healing and the natural world. Through her workshops and retreats, she creates spaces where vulnerability is honoured, mental health stigma is dismantled, and self-exploration is encouraged.
Her work is rooted in the belief that healing happens when we slow down, embrace presence, and allow creativity and nature to guide us.
