A place to Relax, enjoy the Arts and share in the Spirit of Wiltshire.

I was drawn to this cottage eighteen years ago. A labour of love. Derelict and broken, I have painstakingly restored it with the help of local artisans to somewhere resemble its near four hundred year old originality. The Old Forge burns bright once more and a host of fascinating beauty awaits you whether your interests lay in jewellery, art, objects, food, drink, meditation, sound, breathwork, music, yoga or the spiritual.

For well over five thousand years, pilgrims have flocked to Wiltshire for its pagan magic. At The Smithy we embrace this energy, harness it in our souls and share it with offerings.

The Gallery

My thirty plus years jewellery journey has included retail in antiques, award winning national chain stores and my brother and my Mayfair boutique, GUY&MAX. I also worked in the wholesale diamond trade and manufactured diamond jewellery. It has all led me home. The Smithy Gallery is the union of my passion for romance and jewellery with the Spirit of Wiltshire. My cottage provides the most energising source from which to explore the henges, barrows, crop circles and monuments to which pilgrims have been drawn for millenia.

The jewellery represented is all themed accordingly. Circles of sun, moon, orb and crop, celestial stars glittering above our romantic bondage to our Self and our Beloved. The Sacred Geometry of our Universe is bound in the microcosm of a precious stone or melted from the golden histories of our ancestors.

Whether you are celebrating the past, present or future, my knowledge, my home and our shared love of nature and mystical beauty will guide us to your cherished heirloom.
