CURRENT EXHIBITION

Vee Harland: Photograms & Textiles

— On view until 24 December

Local Pewsey Vale artist Vee Harland creates photographic works using found objects, plants gathered from her garden and materials informed by patterns in nature and dreams. Working from a darkroom at the bottom of her garden, Harland approaches the photogram process with an alchemist’s sensibility, transforming organic forms and photographic chemistry into mysterious, one-of-a-kind images.

Each photogram is a unique work, created through an intimate dialogue between nature, light and chemistry. Alongside her photographic practice, Harland also produces hand-spun textiles using her own spinning wheel, extending her exploration of material, process and the natural world.
